Auditory skills, oral fluency, and early writing development form the core of PP2 Language Activities over 10 pages, following the KICD curriculum design.
Instruction develops expressive vocabulary through conversational news sharing, audio listening drills, and tactile letter formation:
- Time expressions and calendar routines in Weeks 1 and 2, watching daily schedule clips, discussing home chores, and singing days of the week songs.
- Phonic progression during Week 3, blending consonant-vowel syllables and decoding introductory three-letter words with upright posture.
- Transport vocabulary and news retelling across Weeks 4 and 5, studying vehicle sounds, road transit safety, and personal travel memories.
- Picture reading, vehicle craft modelling, and pocket chart word construction in Weeks 6 and 7.
- Letter sequence writing, syllable rhyme recitations, and end-of-term evaluations during Week 8.
